I was on a walk through the woods when I suddenly felt compelled to photograph this scene of a fallen tree and some barren branches that appeared in the small pond. It seemed to be beckoning to me to photograph it so it could reveal something about itself to me.

As I was processing the image something came over me and I broke out my digital tools and started to manipulate and transform this mundane photo into this amazing piece of digital art. That compelling inspiration gave rise to this wonderful surreal piece of abstract art for you to enjoy.

Visions were appearing of a mythical bygone Gothic realm full of powerful demons and mysterious creatures. Merlin and his magic along with the druids and their mystic ways wandering the realm of ancient myths and heroes.
